The entire locket is made of Sterilium Plus (a tarnish-resistant fine ultra white silver allow with germanium; it is the best alloy for lockets since they include moving parts). Sterilium Plus is sourced from a green responsible refiner. This particular locket has a matte finish.
The flying fish design came to me as I was trying to figure out how to create a design that would work with the angular postion of the latch.
The locket is shipped to you beautifully packaged and comes with a polishing cloth and personalized customer care letter.
